Ben Mor Coigach is the name for a area of high ground that is home to two Corbetts. This is an interesting hill as it looks completely different from different directions. As you drive north from Ullapool and descend into Ardmair Ben Mor Coigach is the vast steep hillside overlooking the bay. However go around there are interesting coires, slopes and peaks. As seen from Achiltiebue the two Corbets can be seen as seperate hills on the main ridge.
Culnacraig is at the end of the road past Achiliebuie. Just park there is no problem as long as you do not obstruct others.
Walk up the hillside to the col and then turn right to the summit of Ben Mor Coigach.(5.5kms. 730m. 3hrs. 10min.)
Continue back to the col and then onward to Sgurr an Fhidleir.(2.5kms. 160m. 1hrs. 10min.)
Return back to the col and then descend by the uphill route.(4.5kms. 160m. 1hrs. 40min.)
